Glenn St. Clair, GEM’s president, was born and raised on a farm in Wisconsin. After earning a degree in mechanical engineering, he went to work for Cummins Engine Company in Columbus, Indiana, eventually becoming it’s director of worldwide technical services. While with Cummins he first earned an MBA degree, then a PhD in industrial management. After 28 years with Cummins and a brief stint teaching business at Andrews University in Michigan, he served 8 years in Sierra Leone, West Africa, as Administrator of Masanga Leprosy Hospital and country director of the Adventist Development and Relief Agency. He then served an additional four years as ADRA’s country director in Nepal. Presently retired except for his work with GEM, St. Clair is the father of 5 grown children and lives in Michigan with his wife Jerre.
